Marshall 2040 Artist 50 Watt Combo Amp 1973

This is a rare Marshall Artist 50 watt 2x12 combo made in England in 1973.

Presented in good working order. This amplifier has a big warm clean tone and would be an ideal pedal mule with great clean headroom for gigging when needed.

Two 12”Celestion Green back drivers and two channels with four inputs and separate EQ controls. The Hammond spring reverb is in excellent working order. All go to go and gig, or to restore if you were a collector.

There has been the addition of two extra carry handles added at some point in the past. It has useful castors fitted. Quite a few scuffs on the black Tolex and the grill cloth has some tears and scuffs but nothing major.

It is a realistically priced “players” vintage Marshall amp.
