1970s Maestro Echoplex EP-3, In fantastic working order! Some repairs to the outer casing but EP-3 itself is in beautiful working order! still on 110v!
A truly iconic effect and a favorite among collectors. The Maestro EP-3 was released in 1970 and was used by a variety of artists from all different genres over the years, the most noted of which during the 70s & 80s was the incredibly Eddie Van Halen! The Echoplex can be heard in a number of Van Halen's early releases including EVH's infamous Eruption. Around the same time Maestro released the EP-3, the company was acquired by Norlin Industries a sister company to Gibson Guitars which still retains Maestro under the Gibson Brands umbrella.
As pictured above our much-loved EP-3 has at some time in the past seen some damage to its outer casing and tape tray cover. This in no way affects the device's function and usability. Our EP-3 still sounds as sweet as it did when it left the factory in the 70s! This truly iconic piece is great for those seeking that authentic original tone as well as those looking to start a vintage collection! Don't miss out on this jaw-dropping piece of equipment!
