Very cool 2007 3 Pickup Heritage Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Custom Classic in Very Good Condition!

A very cool Limited Run for a not-too-distant past! This Ladies & Gents is a very cool Les Paul from the 'Guitar of the Week' series of 2007! Each week would see a new variation of a Gibson classic! Some models replicated (or were similar to) models used by iconic Gibson artists and others were far-out futuristic & customized creations. While the Custom Classic was featured in this lineup several times throughout 2007, it was week 42 that saw is loaded originally with 3 cream Dimarzio Super Distortion pickups & finished in a gorgeous Heritage Cherry Sunburst, tipping its hat to the notorious & legendary Les Paul Custom used by Ace Frehley of KISS!

While our Custom Classic has been well-loved by its previous owner, there are one or two small things to note, the first of which being its pickups, both neck & bridge pickups were replaced by Bare Knuckle Mule Humbuckers at Chandlers Guitar Works in London (Original pickups are not included), whilst there two 500k pots were added to split coils & invert phase. The original speed knobs have also been replaced with gold top hats (originals not included). As you'd expect on any Nitro' finished instrument that is touching nearly 15 years in service, there are a collection of buffing and playing marks around the instrument. However, this does not take away from this amazing Les Paul! it has that big fat sound we all know and love and is currently beautifully set up with Regular Slinkys to a low action. The Classic Custom also weighs in at a moderate 9.03lb

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Classic Custom has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
