The speaker configuration for this example is a Celestion 12" Vintage Series G12H 30 Watt 70th Anniversary Special Edition and a Celestion 12" Cream back G12 M 65 Watt, it's a tone monster and the perfect match for your high-quality valve amp.
This 16-ohm example is near mint, studio use only, and in overall excellent condition. The black tolex covering is almost un-marked,
They have utilized a Theile Ported design which allows them to dial in the full frequency range of the guitar.
The low end is determined by the port width, mid response by the shelf depth, and top end by the choice of speakers. Placed vertically, the Z Best delivers a tuned, focused sound yet has the airy qualities associated with open-back cabs due to the front port.
When placed horizontally, you pick up more low end as the front port is then coupled with the floor.
This is a long throw cabinet that will get the sound to the back of the room.
