Fender Precision Bass with Rosewood Fretboard 1981 - Sienna Sunburst

This 1981 Fender Precision bass is finished in a vibrant Sienna Burst which is still rich and stunning to behold. The wood figuring visible is also very kind to the eye,  

These instruments were referred to at the time as the “International series “

It is in excellent condition for its age, with just a few light blemishes and age-related wear from use, and it looks just great.

There is one chip in the finish the front toward the bottom of the body as pictured. There are a few minor chips on the back of the body but all in keeping with its age.

The back of the neck is also very clean and this bass has an excellent playing action. The frets are also in great condition with minimal wear and nicely crowned and polished. The neck is a slim “C” profile with a Rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot markers,

The electrics have been fully checked and working perfectly. It has it original wiring, pots and Grey bottom pickups date 1981 with no solder breaks. The pickup output is 10.77k

It weighs 10.25lb. The serial number is S903262.

This guitar is all original with no modification, all in all a very nice example of a CBS Fullerton factory Precision bass.

It is being sold with an old-shaped hard-shell case and even has the original owner's manual and swing tag with the correct serial number.
