Dearnaley Taff Delta Flame Top "Twang Machine" 2020

This is a 2020 Dave Dearnaley Taff Delta "Twang Machine" reverse headstock flame top handcrafted solid body.

One of the very last electric solid bodies that Dave ever made before he retired and took up building his amazing acoustic (We are also the exclusive UK dealer for these wonderful guitars)

So we must view this as a legacy instrument. Dave put all of his vast knowledge into the build. The reverse headstock allows for enhanced "Twang" and who are we to argue with that!

Loaded with TV Jones Starwood pickups, He used his very best Ash for the body and book-matched Maple for the cap. All done by hand including the neck shape, he won't revile the radius so don't ask. But know this, It fits the hand like an old friend.

His guitars intonate as you would expect from a premium brand, but they don't always deliver, Daves builds do,  (As his acoustics demonstrate, its the first thing that player with perfect pitch notice) 

All the good bits, brass saddles, Kluson bridge plate and machine heads hand-shaped pickguard, Finished with traditional Nitro, expertly applied, detail after detail will impress you.

There will be no more of these built, it would be a worthy addition to your armoury no matter how many Fenders you own.
