Fender MIJ Contemporary Jazz Bass Special ('84 - '87)

1984 / 1987 Fender MIJ (Made In Japan) Contemporary Precision Bass in Excellent condition!

This MIJ Jazz Bass Special is a perfect melting pot between the two iconic Fender models! Featuring the very popular Precision Bass body with the comfortable much loved Jazz Bass neck! as made famous by Duff McKagan of Guns & Roses, the Jazz Bass Special also features both a P-Bass pickup & Jazz Pickup in the bridge position for optimal tonal variation! This Jazz Bass Special was built between '84/'87 as part of the Contemporary.

The Jazz Bass Special is in very good condition given its age & and has been very well kept. While it does bare a small collection of dings and scratches the finished Jazz Profile neck is untouched and feels as perfect to play as any modern-day American equivalent.

As is standard practice with all our instruments this 80s icon has been through our workshop where it has been thoroughly checked, tested, & inspected by our tech to ensure it is in peak condition for its new owner, and ready to take on the touring world once again!

This Jazz Bass Special also includes the original bridge & neckplate (pictured) as well as a Fender-shaped hard case! (Please note: the case doesn't fully close but is still fully functional in protecting this bass)
