Rickenbacker 4001 Burgandyglo 1983
This is a very nice Burgandyglo Rickenbacker 4001 Bass manufactured in 1983.
It is a rare finish and it also has factory-fitted Wavy Grover waffle back machine heads which is a cool feature, These are smooth in operation, and work well.
The overall condition is excellent for the year, with just a few light age-related marks, light dings minor chips in the finish, nothing nasty, and signs of a used but cared-for instrument.
The dual truss rod functions as it should and it has a medium playing action and it's nice to play.
Original and unmolested electronics and the pot date 1981.
The original Rickenbacker case is also in excellent condition with just a replaced handle to report.
This is a fantastic vintage Rickenbacker bass, these are getting harder to find these days,
